After almost two years of concerted efforts in fund raising by the Knights of Columbus, on October 2, 2012, the new 3D/4D My Lab 25 Gold Ultrasound arrived at A & A Alexandrina Center/Green Bay Pregnancy Help.

A special session for free ultrasound exams were arranged for October 15 and 16. Around half a dozen local pregnant women were eager to be the first to obtain images of their unborn children when the company representative and staff members tried out the new machine at the Center.

Many ask why the machine is described as 3D/4D. The simple answer is that the previous black and white 2d or 2 dimensional length and width ultrasound images are now seen in 3 dimensions with depth, and a 4th dimension that is time. Images can now be stored on DVD and CD media.
